Toddler/Preschool

Toddlers/ 2’s

This nurturing environment provides hands-on exploration and social interaction in a safe and nurturing environment. Children are provided daily opportunity to explore and learn through age appropriate lessons and manipulatives, learning about their expanding world. Through the guidance of our early childhood professionals, toddlers enjoy learning experiences promoting their blossoming independent skills, social/emotional abilities, and fostering language abilities. Weekly classroom lesson plans are developed to create learning experiences and social involvement through interactive play, developmentally appropriate lesson plans, and hands-on activities. A daily sheet is sent home communicating with families their child’s daily progress. The ratio is one teacher per six children and the room capacity is twelve children total.

Preschool/ 3’s- 5’s

Throughout the preschool program, children will learn a strong sense of community and their place within the community. Students explore their neighborhood, learning about the many helpers and their purpose. We place great emphasis on fostering independent skills, helping to foster positive self-confidence, and a strong sense of pride in personal growth and achievement. We provide an environment that nurtures social skills and encourage confidence for positive self-esteem. Our curriculum offers an abundance of opportunity for learning, especially through the different classroom learning centers that allow children to become active participants. Our daily schedule consists of circle time, one-on-one and small group instruction, outdoor recreational play/exploration, music and movement, and hands-on educational skill sets. Through constant active participation, children learn how to work in groups, and gain a sense of belonging, as the share their excitement for learning. We work closely with the home environment, encouraging healthy eating habits, potty readiness, and parent conferences. The ratio is one teacher per ten children and the room capacity is fifteen to eighteen children total.
